Out of Touch, the first book in the Touch of Gray (TOG) series, establishes the main character Gray Graham.  It touches on the history of the world and why she relocated to another country.  It also delves into Psycepts (those with psychic perception), Gray's touch clairvoyant capabilities, and consulting on police cases.  Several peripheral characters are introduced like the police she works with, her employees at her agency, and some of her friends.  The central conflict is a mysterious border incursion and what it means to her adopted country and the Psycepts that live there.  Amazon Kindle and Google Books

The second book in the series, Invisible Touch, expands Gray's world.  We learned a little more about other Psycepts including Gray's siblings, PsyWitch Wendy, and The Sisters Wyrd and Brother Bone (aka Blood and Bone Sages).  We also dive into the world of Psycepts living in Albuquerque and got an inkling of the difference between conservatorships (the sections that make up the country of The Greater Tribal Council of the Americas).  The main mystery is how Gray and her brother and sister handle kidnapping and murder cases that remain unsolved by the police.  Amazon Kindle and Google Books.


Wild and Wicked Ways is the first of the 'World of Touch of Gray' (WOTOG) books and the first in the Wendy Weather series. WOTOG takes characters from TOG and gives them their own stories.  The Wendy Weather series features PsyWitch Wendy Randolph and Weather Guide Diego Escudero as main characters.  In this story, Wendy, the best friend of Gray, assembles a posse of Psycepts to investigate a menacing presence in the forests of Pennsylvania.  This story is a follow up to Wendy's healing consultation trip mentioned in Invisible Touch and introduces the new character of Diego.  Amazon Kindle and Google Books


Gray's story continues in Touch Too Much.  The events of this book occur roughly six weeks after Invisible Touch and a couple of weeks after Wild and Wicked Ways.  This book revisits the border incursion from Out of Touch.  It also has Gray as a newly elected councilmember as well as the new Psycept residents arriving in Albuquerque, both mentioned in Invisible Touch.  Amazon Kindle.

Now for upcoming books...

Another WOTOG novella is forthcoming in Fall 2021, but this time it will be of the Blood Mystic series focusing on Vic and Jay MacGillivray, Blood Sage characters introduced in Invisible Touch.  In Blood Song, they will travel to another conservatorship (hint: we may see some characters last seen in Invisible Touch). The promotion will include the usual cover reveal, book description, an excerpt, a character list, and a short informational video starting in September 2021.  As this is a shorter novella, no narrated chapter will be made.

After that is Keep in Touch, the fourth book in the TOG series slated for 2022.  I'll have a cover reveal post, plus a book description with pre-order link, and an excerpt in beginning a couple of months before publication. As this is a longer book, an informational video and chapter 1 narration will probably be posted shortly after publication.  We'll finally experience the 'Psycept Shindig' mentioned in Invisible Touch and Touch Too Much.

Another WOTOG book focusing on Bone Sage Tiko MacGillivray will follow in late 2022. It's entitled Bone Hollow and is part of the Bone Guardian series. Finally, the second Wendy Weather book will be published in 2023.  More on these next year.

The plan is to have a balance between the larger Touch of Gray series focused on Gray and the smaller World of Touch of Gray stories split between Wendy Weather, Blood Mystic, and Bone Guardian.

TOG: Out of Touch, informational video [Updated Dec 2019]

Out of Touch, like any first book of a series, has the herculean task of setting up the world of Touch of Gray.  It must provide the rules of the world, the geography and parameters, the characters, the history, as well as the individual conflict within the book.  A book jacket or description is designed to intrigue and entice the reader, but space is too limited to provide much information. As such, I have put my incredibly poor media skills to use to create a video primer of the world.  Though I should say that this is more a podcast set to a couple of slides rather than a proper video.  Yes, I am narrating this (and there is a reason I am not a vlogger nor audio book narrator).
