Blood Song is a short story set in the World of Touch of Gray, the first in the Blood Mystic series featuring Blood Sage sisters Vic and Jay MacGillivray. While this story is stand-alone, there are characters from previous Touch of Gray books featured in Blood Song.
 

Blood Song is available now for pre-order on Amazon Kindle and will be published November 1st, 2021.  The usual excerpt will be available prior to publication, and character descriptions will be made available within a few days after publication.


Book Description:  Strange occurences are afoot in Council Bluffs in the Southern Plains Conservatorship.  An ancient force is stirring, tormenting the sages of Council Bluffs and hungering for blood.  The MacGillivray sibling sages have been called for assistance, and sisters Vic and Jay are dispatched to investigate. They are aided in their investigation by Kai Graham, brother of Gray and friend to the MacGillivrays.  History has a way of repeating itself and it is a race against time for Vic, Jay, and Kai to prevent the past from becoming the future. 

Conveniently, Touch of Gray Bundle 1 is available on Amazon Kindle for the special price of $2.99USD, though it will increase with the publication of Blood Song.  The bundle includes the first two books in Touch of Gray series plus a separate story featuring another character set in the same world.

The third Touch of Gray book, Touch Too Much, is available separately from Amazon Kindle.

TOG: Out of Touch, informational video [Updated Dec 2019]

Out of Touch, like any first book of a series, has the herculean task of setting up the world of Touch of Gray.  It must provide the rules of the world, the geography and parameters, the characters, the history, as well as the individual conflict within the book.  A book jacket or description is designed to intrigue and entice the reader, but space is too limited to provide much information. As such, I have put my incredibly poor media skills to use to create a video primer of the world.  Though I should say that this is more a podcast set to a couple of slides rather than a proper video.  Yes, I am narrating this (and there is a reason I am not a vlogger nor audio book narrator).
