For the World of Touch of Gray, I previously posted about the countries as well as provided the Geography description from the appendix of Touch of Gray. Now I'll expand on that by giving more of an idea of the conservatorship locations that make up The Greater Tribal Council of the Americas (GT).  Plus the details of Southwestern Alliance Conservatorship regions as Gray lives on SWACon. Here is a not-at-all-to-scale drawing of where the 11 conservatorships of the GT are in relation to one another. So, if written word contradicts this map (I say a city is in US and this map looks like the city would actually fall within GT borders), please consider my written word as correct. This will not just be about Writing Workshops, but also Creative Writing courses and Writers Conferences. I feel that writers have the most experience with Creative Writing courses. This could be either in high school or college/university, or both.  At least in the Creative Writing I was exposed to, we were given a variety of topics to explore.  Sometimes our response was to be with poetry or as a scene in a play or whatever else the professor assigned.  Other times we had free rein on how we wanted to respond.  With any assignment, we were put in small groups and asked to critique each others' work.  Some classmates were kind and constructive while others were pedantic and derogatory.  Ultimately, while I am glad of the experience, I do not wish to repeat these types of classes.  I have attended a few of Writing Workshops in my life, which I feel are more beneficial to me.  Many times, workshops are short sessions so by nature, you are limit...

I am by no means a writing technology guru.  I've tried Scrivener but I became frustrated not knowing all the tips and tricks to get the software to do what I wanted it to.  I felt that I was wasting valuable time trying to look up how to do something rather than writing.  My time is first dedicated to school and my studies, then friends and family with only a limited amount of time remaining for writing.  I am sure that with further use, I would have felt more comfortable using Scrivener, I just didn't have the time to devote to learning how.
